Dance Dance Revolution is a conceptually simple game.
A player is standing on a mat which has 4 arrows on it.
On the screen there are four stationary arrows on top pointing left, down, up and right. Also there are various arrows that are scrolling from the bottom to the top. Once the scrolling arrows coinside with the stationary ones, the player is supposed to step on the corresponding arrow on the mat. That happens on various beats of the song and the more precisely you step on the arrows, the more points you get. If you consistently miss the steps, you lose the game.
