Today the New York chapter of USA Dance (formerly USABDA) had their Spring Social held at Pierre Dulane Dance Studio. This was a fundraiser to sponsor the US prepresentativs of the Jr. Blackpool Team Match. The unusual thing about this social was the abundant presense of teenage kids who were dancing on the floor in the middle of the regular grownups. There was a two-part show. During the first part 4 teenage couples were performing and during the second Jonathan Wilkins and Katusha Demidova gave us a taste of professional theatrical ballroom dancing.
