WOW. Now THIS would be cool. Something everyone should get to attend at least once. Because we all wear clothes!

Looks like a fun time was had by all on the 10th. I esp love that skyline pic of lower Manhattan and you and your pals. I'm counting the days till I come out there and satisfy my craving for that place. It's just the coolest.
So thanks for all the pics you post -- it helps this Manhattan junkie!

PS glad you liked DWHH. Thanks for reading. PLEASE go to Amazon and B&N and post your comments!

Thanks, Raphael, for the info on the webcams. I've never really looked into them -- or utilized the presence of them on the web...a fascinating eye to the world, without a doubt.

Glad you're enjoying the read. That's what reading's about, for the most part, right? And coming away knowing something we didn't know before add icing on the cake so to speak.

Hey so why didn't you say hello when you were on my webcam page?

Stickam works with pretty much any webcam. The one I got is Logitech Orbit MP. What I like about it is that it has a 9 inch pole (removable) so I can put it next to the monitor or anywhere on my desk and it has a good angle relative to my face. It also has automatic face tracking, so when you move around it will turn itself to follow your face. The cheapest price I could find for it is on Amazon for around $95:
    http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000BBAKSA/ref=sr_11_1/102-5578643-1087351

Alternatively you can get this one without a pole for $61:

Some laptops these days come with built-in webcam. Stickam site should work with them too.

The beauty of stickam.com is that you don't have to install any software on your computer. All you need is a web browser. You can also "stick" your webcam on any website such as your blog. It's very easy to do. Check it out!

By the way I am 65.09% into "Dancing With His Heart". (My ebook reader tells me that :) I like it very much so far. I even did a whole research on autism on wikipedia! How nice it is to read! You always learn something new!

That is just SOOOOOOO funky that you can sit and SEE someone like that! I clicked on it today and I saw you!

Now, about the camera...is it a special kind? Cause I'm kinda rockin on this whole webcam idea...Not that a writer looks particularly interesting when she writes...LOL...I checked out the stickcam site, but they don't specify a particular camera.

    Funky.<grin>

Katherine, you forgot one more talent: overdubbing the sound on a video :) The saxophone sound you yeah is some guy I recorded in Central Park :). It was actually my first time holding a saxophone in my hands, but I had fun air-saxophoning :)

Well you caught me when I was at lunch. Actually a co-worker of mine and I were eating it in an air-conditioned conference room because the temperature outside is 115 degrees. I wonder if I will see more people on the street wearing bathing suits today...
