    Raphael,

Thank you for sharing the Christmas windows - I had not seen them all and it was so nice to watch them from the comfort (?!) of my office vs the crowds outside. I am miss all the NYC energy by staying indoors but I would not have seen them otherwise - it was so nice of you to share. Thank you!

I went to the Holiday Wonder show today, it was amazing! Unfortunately I didn't take any pictures or video of the performance!

I did get a video of a dragon dance they did after the show outside!

    Happy Holidays!

while i don't LIVE in jeans, i can't imagine my life without denim. growing up on a ranch, they are de rigueur on the farm, both for their warmth and protection from the elements. depending upon what you wear them with, they can even dry more quickly than some heavier choices. plus, they hide a lot of grime and dust.

however, now that we have so many more choices both in fabrication and designs, denim articles are among my favorite items in my wardrobe--i probably have a dozen denim skirts, and at least a few differet jackets, not to mention many varied styles of jeans.

now that we have denim with some stretch in it, it's impossible to be uncomfortable in denim. you can have all the same style, but it's amazing what 2% lycra can do for you --such as wear them to thanksgiving dinner! as a sidenote, the only people i've ever known who never owned jeans are my grandparents.

your new jeans suit you! hopefully you'll enjoy yours as much as i do mine. in fact, i predict that it won't take a whole year for you to purchase more denim!

Well, when I leave my house, I check for three things: keys, wallet and camera. Living in New York City, having a camera handy is as important as having your wallet :)

I was thinking about that too. Something could be scary about her face and hands, so it's better to wear something like this instead of a regular outfit and a mask and gloves.

I did not see this person, but have read somewhere..
(NY related publication) that there is this knit designer/artist that knit herself in/knit while wearing the knit....
    I have no words....
I read the article because I used to be a knit freak too, but not to this extent...

How strange! I once saw a guy on the subway platform in just tiny tight see-through shorts, so he appeared naked.

I suggest you read "The Confederacy of Dunces"... on the first page you will learn how misguided you've been all these years about your clothes philosophy. Comfort is King :)
